Life coaching is a partnership between the coach and the client, where they are able to use various tools, techniques and resources that are available to them to contribute to the problem solving process. Within this partnership, it is essential that there is a two-way dialogue. The life coach can be seen as being an observer of the performance of the client in different aspects of their life. This is then followed by constructive feedback which will look at improving the client’s performance and result in a particular aspect of their life. Within this, the life coach needs to facilitate growth opportunities for the client and encourage the client to address difficult issues.
Executive Coaching is focused at managerial level where personal and business related topics are explored to improve business performance and operational effectiveness. It also explores the complexity of the management role within the perspectives of the organisational dynamics and vision.
